Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

As the time passes, you may notice a gradual deterioration of the performance of your PC. It is completely normal because of the accumulation of some unnecessary 'junk' files. You should use special security software to delete them, but RapidFixer is not an application that can assist you in this task. This tool is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The experts use this term when they refer to pieces of software that are inefficient, rely on questionable distribution mechanisms, or cause annoying modifications to the system. Unfortunately, RapidFixer may exhibit all three negative aspects. For a start, the direct download from rapidfixer.com, which is the official product webpage, is not the most used method for the installation of this PUP. It may enter the system thanks to the bundling strategy, which means it may be a recommended addition of some freeware. The problem, in this case, is the fact that the 'Quick' installation menu may not inform you properly about the presence of additional elements. As software that is not legitimate, RapidFixer is unable to locate or fix any errors. The scans that it may perform automatically seem to be manipulated – they usually display a high amount of issues but spare details. When you attempt to repair them, this PUP may ask you to purchase its full version. If it is the case, you should not agree because you will receive nothing back in exchange for your money. RapidFixer also may interfere with installed browsers, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. The questionable application may create pop-ups, banners and videos that may lead to its partners. It also may replace the default homepage and search provider. All in all, you should take measure to delete RapidFixer right away.
