Reaver is a malware threat that has associations with SunOrcal and SUTR malware variations that are known for cyberattacks on the Taiwanese presidential election in 2016. Since then, Reaver has been birthed to continue attacks among infrastructures welded by Chinese focus groups or separatist movements.

The attacks of Reaver may end up comprising vulnerable systems or at least assist with attack campaigns that could allow access to a system remotely.

The detection and removal of Reaver is essential to limit remote attacks from cybercrooks. The use of proper antimalware resources will be sufficient to automatically eliminate Reaver from an infected system.
