Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

SaferSearchResults.com is a browser extension that tells users that it'll keep their searches protected from the spying eyes of advertising and marketing companies that may collect this data to improve the quality of the advertising campaigns they maintain. It is not a secret that major search engines collect anonymous information regarding the user's activity and search queries, and may use it for marketing purposes. However, the key word in this statement is 'anonymous,' which means that the information about your searches is not identifiable. SaferSearchResults.com promises to fix all this by making your searches private, but how does this extension achieve this? Most users may be expecting a state-of-the-art anonymous network, but the truth is that the Safe Search Results extension uses a much simpler method – it just modifies the user's default search aggregator, new tab page and homepage to a 'secure' search engine linked to SaferSearchResults.com.
While this change is not threatening, it may diminish the users' Web browsing experience significantly since the SaferSearchResults.com search engine may provide them with different search results when compared to popular Web search pages like Google, Bing and Yahoo. Furthermore, while SaferSearchResults.com may keep some of your search queries hidden from marketing agencies, it is entirely possible that SaferSearchResults.com may display its own ads, which will pop-up whenever you attempt to use the 'secure' search engine.
If you did not install the SaferSearchResults.com extension knowingly, or if you wish to get rid of its presence, then the best way to do it is to use a credible anti-malware software suite. Don't forget that modern anti-malware security suites can help you with the removal of Potentially Unwanted Programs, adware, browser hijackers, and similar not harmful yet desired software. Manual removal is also an option, but you should keep in mind that this may not eliminate the files and Registry entries related to SaferSearchResults.com completely.
