Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The SafeSearch Toolbar is a potentially unwanted toolbar that may appear on your computer without your knowledge. The sudden appearance of the SafeSearch Toolbar isn't a coincidence, and there's a reasonable explanation how this toolbar may have attached itself to your Web browser. The SafeSearch Toolbar may rely on unfair distribution techniques that involve the use of software bundling, confusing installation instructions and misleading information. By combining these three simple methods, the SafeSearch Toolbar's publishers may increase the number of computer users who use SafeSearch Toolbar significantly.
The installation of the SafeSearch Toolbar may go unnoticed, and users may only find out about the problem when they see that their homepage and default search engines have been changed to SafeSearch.net or another domain associated to the SafeSearch Toolbar. Another example of a search engine that the SafeSearch Toolbar may promote is Safesearch.raaz.io. We should add that both of these search engines are safe, but it goes without saying that the method they use to attract visitors may not be very honest. The SafeSearch Toolbar may be advertised as a great security utility that can protect users from visiting potentially unsafe Web destinations. However, we assure you that there are much better apps you can use to secure your Web browsing sessions, and you shouldn't trust this task to the SafeSearch Toolbar.
If the SafeSearch Toolbar isn't an application you want on your computer, then you should take care of its removal immediately. The manual removal of SafeSearch Toolbar isn't guaranteed to remove all of the software's components, so we recommend that you use a suitable anti-malware solution to eliminate this potentially unwanted toolbar.
