If you wonder why you see ads by SaleSale when you surf the Internet, you should know that the webpage you are currently viewing doesn't create them. Instead, their origin can be linked to a questionable extension, which you can locate in the Add-on Manager of your web client. This tool has only one task, and it is to show you commercial materials. For this reason, security experts add SaleSale to the extensive category of adware. Typically, PC users don't spend their time searching for ways to download the suspicious plugin intentionally. The adware relies on far less reliable methods to reach the systems of its clients. Most commonly, it arrives as a bundle together with some third-party freeware. The "carrier" program may be totally legitimate, but its authors may promote the installation of additional tools for a certain commission. When SaleSale enters a computer, it may modify Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer at the same time. First of all, it may change your default homepage to a less known search platform, designed solely to boost traffic to the sponsored domains. The same is the reason for the creation of various pop-ups, banners and interstitial ads, which you may face on the majority of visited pages. Allegedly, the adware should keep you informed of the best sales at the moment, which in turn should save you money. In reality, the affiliated pages may not unreliable for you to trust them with your money. Some of them may even be harmful, and may ask you rather load suspicious software. The mere presence of the advertising materials may slow down the operating speed of your web clients, so you should consider using a dedicated anti-malware tool to remove SaleSale.
