SearchAdence is adware that may be installed together with other freeware. SearchAdence may display various unwanted pop-up advertisements, which contain offers, coupons and discounts, on the desktop of the computer system. SearchAdence may offer the web user checking price comparisons; for example, when the PC user is visiting online shopping websites. The pop-up advertisements shown by SearchAdence may urge the computer user to click on random pop-up ads or ads linked to his surfing habits. If the computer user clicks on these pop-up advertisements, SearchAdence may divert the PC user to questionable websites. SearchAdence may advertise suspicious websites, services and products. SearchAdence may also grab information about the PC user's browsing activity, search requests and websites visited. This data can be valuable for marketing campaigns, especially, when showing targeted advertisements.
