SearchConverterz is a browser extension that is very similar to VideozSearchs – it promises the user great utilities to make use of but, in reality, it is designed to manipulate your Web browser's settings, so that you will be forced to use specific websites whenever you search the Web or load a new tab. The websites that SearchConverterz promotes are found at Portal.searchconverterz.com and Feed.searchconverterz.com, and they will be set as your browser's new tab page and search engine, respectively.

Using the websites that SearchConverterz promotes is not a major problem, but it is best to avoid using browser add-ons that bring such changes to your Web browser's configuration. Both SearchConverterz and VideozSearchs are classified as Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs), and any reputable security product will recommend their removal. By removing SearchConverterz, your Web browser's settings should be reverted back to their original state automatically.
