High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

Search Enhance is a potentially unwanted program/adware application that will hijack online searches from finding search results on numerous websites, and replace search results related to queries with links to suspicious advertising websites. Search Enhance is an add-on for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome that is usually added when PC users install other free applications. When computer users install these free applications, they will also install Search Enhance on their machines. Some of the applications that are known to come bundled with Search Enhance involve Yontoo, FBPhotoZoom, and 1ClickDownload. Once installed, Search Enhance hijacks an online search form on Facebook, Amazon, Ebay, or any other website and replaces it with its own. Computer users will have the possibility to carry out a 'Site Search' or 'Web Search' via yousear.ch, giving them affiliate links from which the creators of this extension will earn money. PC users should always pay attention when installing programs because often, a program installer contains optional installs, such as Search Enhance. Web users should be careful what they agree to install. They should always select for the custom install on their PCs.
