Search Extender is a deceitful program that promises to improve your Web searches. If you install this questionable application, you will not notice more accurate results that will help you find the information you need faster. Instead, you will encounter high amounts of sponsored links that will transfer you to affiliated domains. Cyber security specialists define Search Extender as adware because the primary reason for its existence is to boost the popularity of its partner sites. The official page of this extension, which is Searchextender.com, is not used for its installations because it doesn't host the software. This adware may enter together with third-party software, which is a method called bundling. It may be very deceitful when the user skips details. Fortunately, if you select the 'Advanced' guide and read all steps carefully, you should be able to unmark Search Extender in time. You should not let the descriptions of these questionable programs mislead you. It is currently impossible for a small Web extension by an unknown company to display more accurate results than established search platforms. Search Extender is compatible with all Web clients and various Operating Systems (OS), including Windows, Linux and Mac. When you launch Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, you may notice a different homepage than before. You should not trust the promoted search engine because it may attempt to send you to questionable third-party sites, some of which may even attempt to deploy potentially harmful software. Even if the sponsored pages don't represent an immediate threat, they may turn out to be irrelevant to your terms. Thus, you may waste your time, which may prove to be an annoying process. Search Extender also may modify your searches even if you conduct them on the legit providers. The adware may replace part of the results with its own sponsored links. The suspicious extension also may include additional commercial materials of all kinds in the viewed Web pages. The recommendation of the experts is to delete Search Extender right away with a dedicated security application.
