High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

Search Reveal may be an untrustworthy extension that promises to show the true potential of your browsers. In theory, Search Reveal should create handy widgets providing information about weather forecasts and the current time in different time zones. Although these features may be present, it is not advisable to install Search Reveal because it is adware. The main purpose of Search Reveal is not to improve your surfing sessions or optimize the performance of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Its primary function is to generate incoming Web traffic to affiliated third-party pages. This suspicious extension undertakes various approaches to achieve its goal. Search Reveal may include unwanted commercial materials in the sites. After Search Reveal enters, you may start encountering persistent pop-ups, banner, and videos that launch automatically. Some words in the text also may become hyperlinks. If your mouse cursor goes above them, your action may trigger a pop-up. Search Reveal may set search.searchreveal.com as your homepage. You should not trust this engine because it has not been developed to show more accurate results than the established providers. Instead, the site may display a variety of sponsored links that may not be designated adequately. The rest of the results are borrowed from Yahoo. You should avoid visiting the promoted sites to maintain your PC unharmed. While some of the partner pages may be safe e-commerce platforms, others may try to infect your machine or trick you. The mere existence of unwanted commercial materials may be annoying to you. What is more, they may disrupt the smooth operation of your Web clients. The most common issues that may occur include speed drops and freezes. While Search Reveal remains in your system, you may be unable to change your homepage. Search Reveal may evade your attention by hiding in the installation files of third-party freeware. You should never press the 'I agree' or 'Next step' buttons without reading the details to prevent such questionable applications from entering. Since the conventional uninstallation methods may be inefficient against Search Reveal, the experts suggest you use credible security software to delete it.
