The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Search.tagadin.com is a search engine that isn't very popular, and many people might be surprised when it appears in their Web browser even though they have never visited it before. This unexpected event may occur because of the way low-quality search engines like Search.tagadin.com are often popularized – with the help of browser hijackers. The Search.tagadin.com browser hijacker is not necessarily a dangerous application, and it might be delivered under different names. However, it is certain that in almost all cases, the Search.tagadin.com hijacker will arrive as a browser extension which may trick users into thinking that they'll get access to fancy new features and content by installing it. However, opting to install one of these extensions may also have side effects, such as tampering with your Web browser's configuration, so that Search.tagadin.com will be set as your default new tab page.
The browser extensions that may be used to increase Search.tagadin.com's traffic via questionable tricks may often be found in low-quality software bundles. However, software bundles are certainly not the only method used to spread browser hijackers – often, download managers that websites use may also promote the installation of 3rd-party utilities and extensions such as the disguised Search.tagadin.com browser hijacker.
Computer users must always be aware of the risks they expose their computer to when they opt to install low-quality freeware or shareware software. Applications of this type may often be bundled with 3rd-party tools and utilities whose installation is optional, but users who rush through the installation process may end up unknowingly authorizing the Search.tagadin.com hijacker to modify their Web browser's configuration. If you are affected by this minor annoyance, and Search.tagadin.com has been set as your Web browser's default homepage or new tab page, then it is in your best interest to remove the hijacker and restore your Web browser's usual settings. The removal of browser hijackers is a task that may sometimes be completed manually via the Web browser's extension manager, but it might also require the use of more sophisticated computer security utilities.
