Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The Watch TV Now is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that may be installed as an extension for the user's Web browser. As the name suggests, the Watch TV Now is meant to provide users with the ability to watch their favorite TV channels through their Web browser directly. While this feature might be considered convenient by many people, it is important to note that neither the Watch TV Now nor the company behind it (Polarity Technologies Ltd.) maintains any of the TV streams that the extension promotes. Instead, the true purpose of the Watch TV Now is to refer users to 3rd-party online services and websites that host free online TV streams.
Apart from the free TV offer, the installation of the Watch TV Now may bring other, rather unwanted changes to the user's Web browser. This extension can only be installed after the user authorizes it to change their default new tab page to a search engine associated with Polarity Technologies Ltd. The search page can be located at Search.watchtvnow.co, and it appears to function as expected. The search results are generated by the Yahoo Search, and apart from the search field, users also will see a number of quick links to online TV services, as well as a weather widget.
Although using the Watch TV Now is not harmful, users might want to twink twice whether it's worth it using an extension that forces them to use alternative browser settings. The fact that all services the Watch TV Now offers can be found with the help of a simple Web search means that there's no necessity to install the Watch TV Now to access TV streams. We advise users who've installed the Watch TV Now to consider uninstalling the program either manually, or with the assistance of credible security software.
