ScreenshotSecureVeteran is a rogue anti-spyware program. SecureVeteran is a clone of the fake security application called SecurityFighter. Both SecureVeteran and SecurityFighter use similar tactics for the task of making computer users believe that they must purchase a full version of the program to remove threats that it supposedly found on the system. SecureVeteran is incapable of detecting or removing computer parasites. When installed, SecureVeteran is able to display several fabricated popup warning messages and conduct system scans that return fake results. SecureVeteran is not a trusted security program.
