Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

SeekInfoOnline is a suspicious Web extension that may be designed solely for the benefits of its developers, not PC user. This application is adware that may inject unwanted commercial materials and cause automatic redirections towards unreliable Web pages. The philosophy behind this activity is very simple: whenever the plugin redirects the person towards an affiliate site, its creators will receive referral commissions. This tool doesn't travel across the cyberspace as a separate program. SeekInfoOnline doesn't even have an official page. SeekInfoOnline may arrive on your PC if you load freeware from unreliable platforms and don't read the details. This questionable method is called 'bundling.' Although it may be pretty misleading, in most cases the user should be able to opt-out of installing the unwanted components. All you need to do is select the 'Advanced' guide and uncheck the boxes of the suggested free apps. If you fail to do so, the adware may start filling your Web clients with many unreliable banners, pop-ups, pop-unders, transitional ads, in-text ads or embedded video materials. SeekInfoOnline may not affect only the default browser but all present Web clients, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. SeekInfoOnline also promotes a low-quality search provider, which you may notice as your homepage and new tab screen. SeekInfoOnline may show manipulated results to bring you to sponsored sites, so you should avoid using it. The commercial materials may be cookie-based so that they may be accurate. Nevertheless, you should proceed with caution as nothing can verify that all sites in its vast partner network are safe. SeekInfoOnline may seize a significant part of the available resources for its processes, which may lead to annoying functionality glitches like freezes or crashes. SeekInfoOnline may attach firmly towards your browser, so you should use a leading anti-malware application to delete it.
