The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Shield+ is not a legitimate browser that can block the online ads or shield you from incoming malicious files. It is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) made on the popular Chromium platform. It tries to benefit from your actions while you are surfing the web. Shield+ comes with a set in advance homepage that you may not be able to modify. It is a search platform, which doesn't provide accurate results as it tries to boost the traffic towards affiliated sites. If you run a search on it, you will encounter dozens of sponsored link in the best positions. These ads may not be labeled adequately. Shield+ is not an ad-blocker, so you shouldn't expect it to prevent the loading of the web ads. The PUP actually disables the commercial materials that the pages show. However, it sets its own ads in their place. Unfortunately, the new marketing elements may be much more irritating that those that you notice normally. Shield+ may bombard you with tons of persistent pop-ups, banners, sponsored videos, in-text ads or animations. Due to their constant presence on various sites, the operating speed of this PUP may be way lower than that of the popular browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. There are many more issues with this questionable application. Since Shield+ is a PUP, nothing can verify that your personal information is safe. It may not be a good idea to access your most valuable accounts through it as the credentials may go into the wrong hands. Typically, the sites include only safe ads to verified partners. However, the experts note that some ads by Shield+ may be corrupt. You may be redirected towards sites specially designed to obtain personal information from the visitors. Some misleading commercial materials may even transfer you to potentially malicious platforms, associated with various cyber threats. You may not succeed if you attempt to delete this PUP via the Control Panel, so you should use a dedicated spyware removal application.
