The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

Shopping Optimizer is one of the numerous ad-oriented plugins that claim they will enhance your online shopping. In reality, these applications benefit mainly their developers. The people behind Shopping Optimizer receive pay-per-click commissions whenever it transfers the user to sponsored sites. The adware may achieve this task by putting new commercial materials everywhere in the pages you open. No matter if you go online via Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer, you may encounter some rather intrusive pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads and hyperlinked words. These ads may display various coupons, vouchers, exclusive offers and so on. The nature of the promoted products may depend on your surfing data. The adware may keep an eye on the pages you visit, the search terms you are using and available cookies. When it combines this information, Shopping Optimizer may understand what you want at the moment pretty easily. What some users don't expect is that the commercial elements by this adware may not be as reliable as the ads that the majority of sites display. The main problem is the control: rarely do the developers of adware check their partners properly for potential side effects. You should know that Shopping Optimizer may have an adverse impact on the functionality of your browsers. The potential issues that you may face are a reduced loading speed or sporadic freezes, which can be explained by the fact that the ads may use a lot of resources. In almost all cases, Shopping Optimizer enters the PCs hidden in the installers of other programs, whose license is typically free. If you wish to avoid unrequested ads all the time, you should use dedicated security software to get rid of this adware.
