The Smart PC Care is a PC utility that is meant to take care of your computer's optimization, performance and stability by applying various optimizations and fixes that are meant to get rid of junk files, unused Registry keys, and other small fragments of data that are no longer needed but were not removed for some reason. While software of this sort was rather popular in the past, Microsoft has stated that the Windows 10's performance is not impacted by software like this repeatedly, and its users should not expect to see massive improvements in terms of performance or system stability.

Despite this, the company behind the Smart PC Care continues to promote this product as a one-stop solution for all your PC optimization needs. Their website claims that the Smart PC Care is capable of optimizing the Registry by freeing up disk space, removing unnecessary startup items, and perform other tasks that will help boost the PC's performance collectively. However, what the website might not state is that this product is not free, although users are offered a free download. The trial variant is only capable of running the PC scanner and generating a report, which consists of recommended fixes and optimizations. However, if the user wants to apply any of the things featured in the report, they will be prompted to purchase the full product offered by PCVark.

PCVark is linked to a large number of Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs) that appear to be nearly identical to the Smart PC Care in terms of the interface and the website they use. Some of the other products are the Universal PC Mechanic and the Gargizer System Repair. While neither these nor the Smart PC Care are considered to be harmful, you might want to think double about whether it is worth paying for the full product. There are plenty of free tools that can perform the same tasks without asking that you pay for a premium license. Malware researchers have labeled the Smart PC Care as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and recommend using a trustworthy security scanner if you wish to remove it.
