The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

Social Extras by Buzzbox Media LLC is a tiny Web add-on that should let you customize the layout of Facebook and change the color schemes. This feature works just as it is announced and some people may enjoy it. However, the small program comes for free, so its developers may use some pretty intrusive ads to generate revenue. The experts classify the applications with similar performance as adware. The commercial materials that Social Extras injects may be so annoying that the majority of clients prefer to delete it. Unfortunately, this extension attaches very tightly to the browsers, so its manual removal may be difficult. Social Extras may be compatible with a range of Web clients, including Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Social Extras may overwhelm all of them with different types of ads. Whenever you initiate a surfing session, you may encounter pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads, videos and animations. There also may be surprisingly large quantities of hyperlinked words. Facing the same marketing elements on the majority of sites may be annoying by itself, but the process also may cause more severe problems. For example, the functionality of your Web clients may deteriorate due to multimedia ads. You may experience crashes and freezes from time to time. One of the major issues with Social Extras concerns to affiliated platforms. Typically, the coupons and discounts by this adware will open shopping sites. Although some of them may be involved in hoax schemes, in most cases visiting them will not cause damage. However, in some instances, the commercial materials may open shady sites. As a precautionary measure, you should decline all offers to download software. If you see messages claiming that you are infected, you should leave immediately. The most reliable way to restore the normal ad-free condition of your browser is to delete Social Extras with a special security tool.
