SocialNewPage by Imali Media LTD. is not an extension that you want attached towards your browsers. SocialNewPage is an adware that may generate intrusive commercial materials while trying to bring you to sponsored sites. Imali Media is not a company that has a good name. It has created various questionable applications like NewTabTV Plus and TvNewTab that behave in the same annoying manner as SocialNewPage. What is common among the Imali Media's products besides their performance is the distribution method. While SocialNewPage can be found in the Chrome Web Store and on its own homepage, in the majority of cases SocialNewPage may enter combined with other software. This tactic is known as bundling. If you perform the setup of third-party freeware via the 'Quick' menu or skip details, you may agree to install SocialNewPage without having a clue. The most efficient way to avoid such unpleasant surprises is to use the 'Advanced' menu and to pay close attention to every step. At some point, you should see a list of all applications in the bundle, so you should uncheck the ones you don't want to load. By default, the majority of applications that attempt to sneak via this questionable method are untrustworthy. SocialNewPage may be compatible with the leading Web clients like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. Once SocialNewPage attaches to them, this extension may inject rather persistent pop-ups, banners, sponsored videos, interstitial ads or in-text ads. You may notice a deterioration in the performance of the Web clients due to resource consumption of some of the new commercial materials. If your PC is older and not that powerful, the functionality issues may even include freezes and crashes. Clicking on the coupons and offers by SocialNewPage may be a risky action. Some of the pop-ups and banners may take you to potentially threatening Web pages. You should guarantee the security of your Web clients by deleting SocialNewPage with a renowned malware removal program.
