ScreenshotSoftVeteran is a rogue security program. SoftVeteran is installed through Trojans that are disguise as Flash updates or video codecs. Legitimate video codecs are necessary for watching an online video. Once this particular Trojan is installed, it will load SoftVeteran onto a computer as well as create a large number of malicious files throughout the C:\Windows and C:\Windows\System32 directories.

SoftVeteran comes from the group of hackers that created other rogues such as WiniGuard, Soft Fighter and others. SoftVeteran is not a trusted program for detection and removal of parasites. The bogus infections that SoftVeteran supposedly detects are fabricated for the purpose of scaring you into purchasing a full version of SoftVeteran. Undoubtedly, users shouldn't do so.
