SpeedTray is a potentially unwanted program that may load random ads or cause website redirects. In some instances the pages that SpeedTray may redirect your web browser to are ones that have questionable content and end up offering random downloads or product discounts for shopping on the internet. The SpeedTray program may have several associated files or web browser extensions that automatically load upon you installing a random freeware program on your system. In some rare cases, the performance of your web browsers, including Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox, will be reduced due to having SpeedTray loading your computer. It is in your best interest to obtain an updated antispyware tool to eliminate all aspects of SpeedTray from your system.
