High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

The Tabs 2 Grid is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), which gives Google Chrome users the ability to rearrange their opened tabs in a grid that features a preview of the content of each separate tab. While this functionality might be useful, it seems that a large number of anti-virus product vendors have classified theTabs 2 Grid extension as a PUP. This might happen because the Tabs 2 Grid's installation requires the users' permission to authorize the add-on to tamper with their browser's settings and replace their default new tab page or search aggregator possibly.
Although changes like these are not considered to be harmful, they might force the user to visit a search engine or a 3rd-party Web page that they are not used to. In addition to this, the pages promoted by add-ons like the Tabs 2 Grid also may be used to promote untrustworthy content, products, or services, and this may expose users to content that they might not want to see.
If you have installed the Tabs 2 Grid recently and you are not happy with some of the changes it brought, then it may be in your interest to revert the changes by removing the add-on from Chrome. One way to handle this is to uninstall the Tabs 2 Grid from the settings menu of your Web browser manually. It also is possible to handle the removal task by running a credible computer security application.
