TaskDir.Trojan, also known as the Abwiz Trojan, is a Trojan that implements rootkit functionality, allowing it to hide invisibly on your computer. TaskDir.Trojan gathers and transmits personal information stored and entered into your computer, including credit card numbers, financial data, and banking information. TaskDir.Trojan then opens up a backdoor security hole, allowing remote attackers to completely control your computer, execute programs, and download additional malware.
