Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Nowadays, the majority of processes that PC users perform on their machines require a stable Internet connection. It is good to know your potential for downloading and uploading, but a toolbar called Test iNet Speed is not the suggested program for the task. This application that is made by the notorious software developer Mindspark Interactive Network, Inc, is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The problems with it begin with the applied distribution tactics. It is true that Test iNet Speed has its own official site, but a very limited number of the installations happen through it. Instead, Mindspark may prefer to include its questionable products in the installers of third-party freeware. This way, the inattentive PC users who select the 'Quick' menu or skip the details may agree to install Test iNet Speed without suspicion. This toolbar appears at the same time in all of your web clients, not only the default one. It contains a few links to sites that may allow you to test your Internet speed. However, these pages are neither owned nor managed by Mindspark, so you don't need the PUP to access them. The questionable toolbar may alter the functionality of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer in a rather adverse way. The first alteration you will likely notice may concern to the homepage because Mindspark may promote manipulated Ask-based search sites. You should think twice before using it because instead of legitimate results you may encounter numerous sponsored links. The PUP also may generate some pretty aggressive pop-ups, banners and interstitial ads, all of which try to boost the popularity of third-party partner sites. The commercial materials may burden your system, and redirect you to unsafe pages. Since the manual removal may be difficult, you should use a reliable anti-malware solution to delete Test iNet Speed.
