Tf.org

Tf.org is a page that may appear in your Web browser out of nowhere, even though you've never heard of this website before. Unfortunately, this weird event is not just a coincidence, and there is a reasonable explanation why it is happening – you may have installed browser hijacking software on your computer recently. Browser hijackers may act in different ways, and the one linked to Tf.org appears to be one of the more aggressive of them – it may create fake shortcuts on the desktop, modify browser shortcuts, and also tamper with the settings of installed Web browsers. The whole purpose of this action is to force users to visit Tf.org regardless if they like it or not.

While some hijackers promote fairly reliable websites, the case with Tf.org is a bit different because this website is barely operational, and using it as your primary provider of search services may leave you disappointed. The search results it displays are translated to Russian via the Google Translate automatically so that people who don't speak Russian are guaranteed to be confused by Tf.org. Furthermore, all search results may be accompanied by various ads and offers that the users might not be interested in and, last but not least, the search results are not that reliable since Tf.org does not appear to use a reputable search service to display the results on its page.

Since Tf.org is useless and it is linked to aggressive browser hijacking software, it is strongly recommended to deal with this issue as soon as possible. Unfortunately, identifying and removing the intrusive application manually might be difficult so that users should rely on a reputable anti-malware software suite to help them dispose of the browser hijacker and restore the normal state of their Web browser.
