The Coupon Store is an adware extension whose installation may result in the presence of a large number of unwanted ads in all active Web browser sessions. The official website of The Coupon Store promises users to provide them with active and freshly updated coupon codes that they can use online or print to use in retail stores. While this offer may seem attractive, it is important to note that none of the coupons that The Coupon Store may promote are associated with the extension or website. Instead, they are provided by 3rd-party partners and acquiring these coupon codes can usually be done without installing software like The Coupon Store.
When users opt to install The Coupon Store, they may accept to allow the software to promote its marketing content in their web browser unknowingly. The advertising techniques that The Coupon Store may use may vary, but it is likely that users will be exposed to pop-ups, banners, in-text ads, and other advertisements that they are not likely to enjoy.
One of the major problems with adware like The Coupon Store is that these extensions are active on any website so that users will end up having to endure the unwanted ads even while browsing Facebook, Google, YouTube, Yahoo, or other popular Web destinations. Since The Coupon Store does not take the website's layout in mind when generating its ads, it may end up covering navigation menus, content areas and other important parts of the website with marketing content, therefore making it impossible for the users to enjoy a flawless browsing experience. If you notice The Coupon Store on your computer or if you are being bothered by advertisements labeled 'Ads The Coupon Store' or 'The Coupon Store Ads,' then you should take the necessary steps to uninstall this program immediately. Although it is possible to remove The Coupon Store manually, the recommended removal method is to use a trustworthy cyber security utility.
