Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

TigersDeal is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) whose installation may often bring some unexpected changes to the behavior of the user's Web browser. These changes in behavior are not unsafe so that users who have TigersDeal on their computers should not be too worried about their online safety. However, TigersDeal may sometimes modify the browser's settings so that the user's default new tab page and homepage might be replaced with websites affiliated with the TigersDeal's publisher. Furthermore, it is possible that TigersDeal may bring unwanted advertisements to the user's Web browsing sessions and, in many cases, these ads might appear on websites and pages that don't include any marketing content usually.
As the name of the extension suggests, TigersDeal is a browser add-on, which is meant to provide users with instant access to the best deals and offers online. The TigersDeal software can be found on the official Chrome Store under the name 'Tigers Deal-G.' It seems like this application is only compatible with Google Chrome, and users who use another Web browsing client are unlikely to be affected by the annoying changes TigersDeal's installation may cause.
The new tab page that TigersDeal promotes features a fancier background wallpaper, as well as quick links to favored online shopping destinations like Amazon and eBay. The search field found on the same website works as expected, and it redirects users to Google.com's search results. Overall, it is safe to say that TigersDeal does not exhibit any potentially unsafe behavior but, despite this, our advice is to uninstall it from your computer since it may not have anything of value to offer. The removal of this PUP should be carried out either manually or with the assistance of a credible cyber security scanner.
