The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

ToolCube by ToolCube Ltd is a tiny application that may offer very limited utility. It creates a small gadget, which contains links to several different sites. These buttons should give you fast access to news sites, sports pages and even gaming platforms. However, this tool may prove to be far less helpful than some people could expect because it is adware. It may cause you some inconvenience by including various unrequested ads in the webpages. You don't need the help of any software to create shortcuts to your favorite sites because you can set up bookmarks in your browsers easily. For this reason, it is not surprising that ToolCube Ltd may resort to some rather misleading installation methods. This company may spread its product in a set with free applications from third-party software developers. As a consequence, some PC users may load this adware without desiring it. The questionable ad-oriented plugin may work just as well on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. ToolCube may have access to the lists of your searches and visited pages. It may use this data to make the ads relevant to your taste, which will increase the chances for you to click on them. If you follow the pop-ups, banners or in-text ads, the people behind ToolCube will receive pay-per-click commissions. The experts don't encourage you to click on the ads no matter how good the displayed coupons, vouchers or daily deals may appear to be. The reason for this advice is to protect your PC and yourself from threatening software or hoaxes. The ads by ToolCube may be pretty annoying since they may occupy a large part of your screen. If your machine is not very powerful, their presence may hamper the functionality of the web clients. If you listen to the specialists and decide to delete ToolCube, you should use advanced security software.
