Trojan.Haxdoor is a spyware Trojan designed to infiltrate your computer. Once installed on your system, Trojan.Haxdoor uses rootkit technology to hide itself, and then opens a back door by which an attacker can freely access your computer. Trojan.Haxdoor program opens up a tremendous security hole on your computer and is a very dangerous threat to the security of your personal and financial data. Some variants include a keylogger, which monitors and records every key you press, and may use your computer to transmit spam emails through your email account. Some variants may also generate large amounts of annoying and intrusive popup and pop-under advertising. Trojan.Haxdoor has been known to attempt to circumvent and disable anti-virus and firewall programs.
