Trojan.Silentbrute is a Trojan that opens a back door and downloads potentially malicious files onto the affected computer. When Trojan.Silentbrute is executed, it replicates itself to the certain locations. Trojan.Silentbrute then creates the registry entry so that it can run automatically every time the computer user starts Windows. Trojan.Silentbrute then connects to a command-and-control (C&C) server using the certain domain name and then waits for commands. Trojan.Silentbrute will also download lists of common user names and passwords and use them in brute force attacks against a list of target hosts. Trojan.Silentbrute will send back successful credentials to the C&C server using one of the certain web addresses.
