Trojan:SymbOS/Spitmo.A is a malicious Trojan that targets mobile devices running the Symbian operating system (SymbOS). Trojan:SymbOS/Spitmo.A is spread by SpyEye banking Trojan. Affected users are tricked into providing their IMEI and phone number, and subsequently receive a Trojan:SymbOS/Spitmo.A. Once installed on the mobile phone, Trojan:SymbOS/Spitmo.A posts information to a remote HTTP website and downloads and installs another malware infection. Trojan:SymbOS/Spitmo.A causes unexpected Internet activity, most likely charged to the affected user.
