Trojan:Win32/Adslock.A is a malicious Trojan created by hackers to lock the desktop and hold the computer hostage until the PC user commits to an offer that will allegedly unlock the screen. When executed, Trojan:Win32/Adslock.A copies itself in the Windows startup folder so that it could run automatically whenever a computer user logs on or starts Windows. When installed on a corrupted PC system, Trojan:Win32/Adslock.A disables the Task Manager and hides the system Taskbar. Trojan:Win32/Adslock.A connects to remote servers, which are known to send advertisements. Remove Trojan:Win32/Adslock.A immediately with a reliable anti-malware program.
