Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Troj/DwnLdr-KLI is a Trojan that gathers confidential information about your PC and transfers that information to a remote server – most likely as part of a series of backdoor and/or download-based attacks. Although Troj/DwnLdr-KLI can't install itself, Troj/DwnLdr-KLI is installed through the ingenious method of a Trojan dropper that's disguised as a fully functional and macro-based Sudoku game, identified as WM97/ExeDrop-G. Since Troj/DwnLdr-KLI is installed and launches its attacks without any symptoms, SpywareRemove.com malware researchers suggest that you use appropriate anti-malware programs to scan any EXE files matching the above description before you launch them. Troj/DwnLdr-KLI and WM97/ExeDrop-G likewise should be removed with suitable security software, particularly since Troj/DwnLdr-KLI is capable of installing other malware on its own.
Troj/DwnLdr-KLI: the Real Result of Playing WM97/ExeDrop-G's Numbers Racket
Typically, PCs that are compromised by Troj/DwnLdr-KLI are the result of the presence of a preliminary Trojan dropper, WM97/ExeDrop-G. WM97/ExeDrop-G pretends to be nothing more than a harmless Sudoku program, and unlike many Trojans, does have the functions to back up its claims. However, before WM97/ExeDrop-G's victims can play Sudoku, they must enable the Windows Office macro feature – a feature that Microsoft disabled by default as a defense against macro-based malware just like WM97/ExeDrop-G. Naturally, SpywareRemove.com malware experts consider keeping macros disabled for untrustworthy programs to be the most direct way of keeping Troj/DwnLdr-KLI from attacking your computer.
If you do make the mistake of enabling macros to 'play' WM97/ExeDrop-G, WM97/ExeDrop-G will install Troj/DwnLdr-KLI without showing any visible symptoms of the attack. For its own part, Troj/DwnLdr-KLI will commence gathering information about your installed programs, operating system versions, available hardware and other system information. This information then is transmitted by Troj/DwnLdr-KLI to a remote server and can be used for additional attacks.
Don't Let Troj/DwnLdr-KLI Box You Inside While You're Working on Sudoku Boxes
As implied by its name, Troj/DwnLdr-KLI can be utilized to set up other malware, such as fake security programs, ransomware Trojans, browser hijackers, banking Trojans and other PC threats. The vulnerabilities that Troj/DwnLdr-KLI Trojans introduce to your PC also may harm Windows security features, prevent you from using other programs and/or make malicious changes to the Registry.
SpywareRemove.com malware analysts recommend that you reverse all of these issues while deleting Troj/DwnLdr-KLI (as well as WM97/ExeDrop-G, of course) with a qualified anti-malware program. Nonetheless, if you refuse to enable macros for suspicious software in the first place, your PC isn't likely to be troubled by Troj/DwnLdr-KLI at all.
Because macros are a feature of Microsoft Office, as opposed to an unintentional vulnerability, they can't be removed completely by patches. However, patching your software will prevent macros from being enabled by default, which is recommended to keep your PC from being vulnerable to malware with macro-based attack strategies like Troj/DwnLdr-KLI's own Trojan dropper, WM97/ExeDrop-G.
