TROJ_KILSRV.EUIQ is a Trojan that is distributed by hackers via malicious links on Facebook and Google. TROJ_KILSRV.EUIQ, also known as being part of TSPY_BANKER.EUIQ, uninstalls a software program called 'GbPlugin–a software' that secures Brazilian bank customers when conducting Internet banking transactions. TROJ_KILSRV.EUIQ does this through the help of 'gb_catchme.exe–a', a legitimate application from GMER called 'Catchme', which was originally aimed at uninstalling malicious software applications. In this case, cybercriminals are using the program for their own malicious purposes.
