Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Uncheckit is suspicious software that is supposed to help you prevent the installations of Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). In theory, this application should unmark the checkboxes of all questionable programs that try to sneak in alongside a software that you download willingly. Ironically, Uncheckit is itself a PUP. Some PC users may install Uncheckit intentionally from its official site or several other pages that host it. In some cases, Uncheckit may enter silently via this mentioned method known as bundling. If you trust only legit software platforms and conduct a setup process via the 'Advanced' menu, you should be able to keep such PUPs away. There are several negative aspects of Uncheckit. Since this app is not legit, Uncheckit may be unable to fulfill the features that it promises. Another problem is that this PUP is supported by annoying online ads. You may notice them whenever you launch Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. The developers of Uncheckit may use different tactics to make the user visit their partners. Uncheckit may inject commercial materials like pop-ups and banners, which may seize a substantial area of the screen. The PUP also may interfere with the search results or suggest you another search provider. You may notice such a questionable site as your homepage. At the front positions, Uncheckit may show you links that lead to affiliated sites. Some of the ads may open e-commerce platforms that sell different merchandise. Other sponsored links, however, may open highly questionable domains that may offer you additional PUPs. They may even attempt to deploy threats, so you should not agree to install anything. The ads by Uncheckit may lead to real functionality errors and glitches of your browsers. If your hardware is older, you may experience sudden speed drops or freezes. As you probably suspect, this PUP is stubborn and may be immune to conventional uninstall tactics. You should use special security software to eliminate Uncheckit efficiently.
