Updatejavas.com
Updatejavas.com is an unreliable website that may display a fake pop-up alert on a screen of a computer while PC users are browsing the Web. The fake pop-up alert on Updatejavas.com may be displayed by adware that may spread and invade the computer system while PC users are downloading free software from suspicious download websites. The bogus pop-up warning message displayed on Updatejavas.com states that a current Java version is outdated, and the PC user has to get some critical security update as soon as possible. In reality, this warning message is not linked to the computer user's Java program. The bogus Java alert was created to possibly spread adware and other potentially unwanted programs (PUPs). When the computer user clicks on Updatejavas.com pop-up warning message thinking that he will get an update, he may, in actuality, agree to install a potentially unwanted program or adware.
