Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The videoCenter Search is a browser utility whose official Website reveals that it is only compatible with Google Chrome, and it is impossible for users of other Web browsers to take advantage of its features. Talking about the videoCenter Search's features, it is important to note that this add-on promises to help users find relevant video and media content online that will suit their likenesses and interests. However, the installation of the videoCenter Search may bring more than an enhanced video search feature. This utility asks users to authorize it to tamper with the Google Chrome's settings and, more specifically, with the default search engine that Chrome uses for its address bar.
If you install the videoCenter Search extension for Chrome, then you might notice that the installer asks to change your default search engine to Eanswers.com. While this change is not harmful, you should keep in mind that all of your searches will be redirected through Eanswers.com. However, this Website is not suspicious, and it appears to work as a trustworthy search tool. In the case of the videoCenter Search, the search will display Eanswers.com for a brief second, before leading the user to a search results page hosted by Google.
If you want to learn how to remove the videoCenter Search from your computer, you should know that this task does not require the use of PC security software necessarily. While the majority of popular anti-malware applications are likely to detect the videoCenter Search as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and remove it, users should be able to achieve the same result by removing the extension from Chrome's add-on manager manually.
