High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.

Video Converter Toolbar is an application with functions that deem it to be a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). The developer of this web toolbar is Mindspark Interactive Network. This company's products may often provide some useful features, but some are also known for changing the new tab, homepage, and start page of a web browser. The aspect of Video Convert Toolbar that bothers some users is that it may change their web browser's new tab page and homepage. Because of the fact that Video Convert Toolbar is only compatible with Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. Users with other web browsers may not be affected by Video Convert Toolbar's actions. Online advertisements may promote Video Convert Toolbar as a one-of-a-kind browser extension that allows users to convert all types of video formats swiftly. However, converting videos with Video Convert Toolbar may not always preserve their quality, and users might not find some commonly used output formats that would be available in dedicated video converting software. If you don't find the Video Convert Toolbar useful, you may remove it via the list of installed browser extensions or by scanning your computer with a trustworthy and updated anti-malware utility.
