Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

The Videodrome Search is an extension for Google Chrome, which offers users the ability to search for movie trailers, news, and upcoming releases from their browser's address bar or new tab page directly. While this feature might seem useful at first, the Videodrome Search does not function as expected, and the new tab page it promotes does not include a search field. This renders it practically useless since Chrome Users will only see their recently visited pages. The address bar search redirects users to Gomovix.com, an online movie database, which is linked to several other Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs).
The presence of the Videodrome Search on your computer should not be considered a threat to your online safety because this extension is safe. However, it is important to mention that anti-virus products detect it as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) and recommend its removal. While the removal of the Videodrome Search is not mandatory, most users would find no use for this extension because it does not offer anything of value. Users who want to search for movies and trailers can simply use their favorite search engine to find the information they seek.
If you wish to uninstall the Videodrome Search, then there are two ways to complete this task. The traditional way is to open Google Chrome's settings and remove the 'the Videodrome Search' extension from there. If manual removal does not cut it, then you'll be glad to hear that you favorite anti-malware tool should be able to erase PUPs like the Videodrome Search in a matter of seconds.
