VidSearch is a browser extension, which you may end up installing because it promises to give you access to new and entertaining video. However, the truth about VidSearch is that it offers no content of this sort and, instead, its main priority is to make sure that the websites hosted at Feed.vid-search.com and Portal.vid-search.com receive as much traffic as possible. The extension does this by reconfiguring your Web browser so that it redirects you to these websites whenever you open a new tab or start a new search. Needless to say, add-ons that exhibit such behavior should not be tolerated, and their removal should be your top priority.

It is important to add that VidSearch is not harmful – having it on your computer is not a security concern but, as mentioned above, it may manipulate your Web browser's behavior in a negative way. If you are not happy with the things that the VidSearch add-on does, then you should remove it by running a PC security scanner capable of dealing with Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs.)

Once the VidSearch has been successfully uninstalled, your Web browser's settings should be automatically reverted back to their original state.
