Another reason why the installation of ViewPDF is not recommended is that it may bring undesired changes to your Web browser's settings.

Users who install ViewPDF may soon notice that their default search aggregator has been replaced by Pdfsrch.com, an unknown search engine associated with ViewPDF's publishers.
