ScreenshotVirusEraser is a fake anti-spyware application that is often downloaded and installed without user knowledge or permission by a Trojan, through browser security exploits, or via other nefarious mechanisms. Once it is installed, VirusEraser will launch on Windows startup and display false notifications or alerts in order to trick you into buying their software. VirusEraser can't prevent your computer from being infected with spyware because it uses an outdated spyware database, and does not represent a thorough antispyware solution. VirusEraser is known to be related to AlfaCleaner.
