The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:

High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.

The Weather Reports New Tab is an add-on, which users are likely to install when they want to use their Web browser to receive instant updates regarding the local weather conditions, as well as the forecast. While this functionality might sound useful, we'd like to assure you that the Weather Reports New Tab is not the best choice available since this add-on demands permission to tamper with the Chrome's settings. The changes that the Weather Reports New Tab brings are not harmful since they only concern the search aggregator and the default new tab page but some users are likely to find them annoying since the websites that the add-on promotes might not be as credible as Bing, Yahoo, Google, or other commonly used new tab pages.
In addition to bringing potentially unwanted changes, the Weather Reports New Tab also has questionable functionality since there are numerous official weather forecast add-ons, which can provide you with accurate weather details without hijacking your browser's settings to promote a 3rd-party website.
The page that the Weather Reports New Tab promotes does not seem dubious and, in fact, it might work properly at the moment. However, since the Weather Reports New Tab is not affiliated with a reputable company or organization, we can't guarantee that the credibility of its website will persist.
