Whatevery.club
Whatevery.club is a misleading site that wants only one thing – to be able to use your Web browser notifications. Of course, the website does not plan to use this feature to provide you with entertaining and relevant content – instead, it will abuse it to serve countless advertisements that will bother you any time you try to browse the Web. However, gaining access to a browser's notifications is no easy task, and this is why Whatevery.club's administrators are using a simple and misleading trick to get their visitors to enable the Web page's notifications unknowingly.
Users who see Whatevery.club's welcome page are told they need to verify that they are not robots. Supposedly, this is done by clicking the 'Allow' button shown on an on-screen prompt – however, completing this action will just subscribe you to the Whatevery.club notifications. Once this is done, the website will have full reign over your Web browser's notifications, and it may display dozens of advertisements every hour.
As you can probably guess, seeing unwanted advertisements served on any website you visit is not enjoyable. To stop Whatevery.club's behavior, you need to limit this page's permissions. You can do this through your Web browser's settings menu and, to be more precise, the 'Site Settings' section.
