WindowsActivationError is a very aggressive parasite that makes its victims unable to launch their Operating System (OS). WindowsActivationError tries to unsuspecting PC users that there is a problem with the license of their Windows. WindowsActivationError asks the person to type a valid product key to reactivate the OS. Even if you do so, however, you will notice a warning that your Windows copy is fake. A message will appear suggesting you dial 855-441-4421 for assistance. After a few unsuccessful attempts to validate Windows, you may call this phone line assuming it will contact you with accredited Microsoft specialists. In reality, however, the people who introduce themselves as experts are fraudsters. They will undertake various approaches to manipulate you into paying a hefty fee. The con artists may threaten that you will face legal actions if you keep a fake copy of Windows. They also may make it look as if they wanted to help you resolve various problems with the OS. In the latter scenario, the con artists may describe the payment as a fee for their services. You should not consider calling this phone line at all. WindowsActivationError may modify the Winlogon-Shell registry value. As a result, you will notice the fake Windows activation pop-up whenever you try to launch your PC. You will not be able to reach your desktop, start other applications or open your most important files. Since WindowsActivationError may modify various sectors of your OS, it may be exceptionally difficult to resolve the problem manually if you are not an expert. You should use Safe Mode by pressing and holding the F8 key. This action will allow you to install a credible anti-malware application, which should delete this aggressive cyber parasite efficiently. You should know that WindowsActivationError may not be the only harmful program in your system. You also may be infected with some Trojan dropper that could have triggered WindowsActivationError without any interaction from you. The people WindowsActivationError also may spread it directly to the potential victims in spam emails. If you are careful during you surfing sessions and have a powerful security solution, WindowsActivationError should not be able to damage your PC.
