ScreenshotWindows Universal Tool (aka WindowsUniversalTool) is a rogue anti-spyware program which spreads via corrupt media downloads and bogus pop-up alerts. Once active on the system, WindowsUniversalTool hijacks the browser and changes the registry to operate undetected. Windows Universal Tool can produce a sign up screen for a heuristic program. Here the unwary computer user will be asked to pay a sum of money for protection against malware. This is of course a blatant scam. Windows Universal Tool is not security software. Windows Universal Tool is a rogue program which must be terminated immediately.

Hackers have designed WindowsUniversalTool to trick computer users into believing the PC is infected. The bogus popup messages are fabricated by Trojan horses prompting users to purchase Windows Universal Tool as solution to the alleged system attack, but Windows Universal Tool cannot remove any malware, and serves no real purpose but for malicious intent.

If symptoms show that a Windows Universal Tool attack is likely, it is best to download a reputable anti-virus program to remove WindowsUniversalTool fromthe system. Computer users may find manual removal tedious and should rather use a anti-malware program, computer security experts say.

If Windows Universal Tool blocks you from reaching Desktop, you will need to do these three simple steps:

1.When Windows Universal Tool appears, press the URL on the bottom left corner of the program.

2.When the new page opens up, close this page, and immediately close the Windows Universal Tool program by clicking on the X mark.

3.You should now be able to reach Your desktop and start removing the Windows Universal Tool infection.
