Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

Although the developers of WinFilter describe it in another way, it is just the next adware. The majority of PC users may perceive these ad-oriented plugins as annoying for several different reasons. First of all, WinFilter may receive your permission for installation without informing you adequately about its existence. This process is possible because the adware doesn't travel alone in the cyberspace but may rely on the help of third-party freeware. Due to this questionable distribution method, which the experts call 'bundling,' you may agree to install the unreliable web extension without knowing. Second, the features of WinFilter will most likely be of no help. The company that stands behind this adware claims that it can optimize the performance of your web browsers and protect them from the influence of malicious programs. Since only a powerful anti-malware tool can achieve this mission, and WinFilter isn't one, the experts confirm that this statement is deceitful. Third, not only is WinFilter unable to guarantee the stability of your web clients, but it may accomplish exactly the opposite. Just like any other adware, WinFilter may insert large quantities of unrequested commercial materials in Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. When you go online, you may undoubtedly come in touch with some irritating pop-ups, banners, interstitial ads, sponsored videos and concealed in-text ads. The mere existence of these marketing elements may be enough to distract and annoy you, but they also may slow down the operating speed of the browsers. What is more, you can never be sure where the ads will redirect you. On some instances, they may load unsafe sites. For the listed reasons, the presence of WinFilter on your PC is not recommended.
