Threat Metric
The following fields listed on the Threat Meter containing a specific value, are explained in detail below:
Threat Level: The threat level scale goes from 1 to 10 where 10 is the highest level of severity and 1 is the lowest level of severity. Each specific level is relative to the threat's consistent assessed behaviors collected from SpyHunter's risk assessment model.
Detection Count: The collective number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular malware threat. The detection count is calculated from infected PCs retrieved from diagnostic and scan log reports generated by SpyHunter.
Volume Count: Similar to the detection count, the Volume Count is specifically based on the number of confirmed and suspected threats infecting systems on a daily basis. High volume counts usually represent a popular threat but may or may not have infected a large number of systems. High detection count threats could lay dormant and have a low volume count. Criteria for Volume Count is relative to a daily detection count.
Trend Path: The Trend Path, utilizing an up arrow, down arrow or equal symbol, represents the level of recent movement of a particular threat. Up arrows represent an increase, down arrows represent a decline and the equal symbol represent no change to a threat's recent movement.
% Impact (Last 7 Days): This demonstrates a 7-day period change in the frequency of a malware threat infecting PCs. The percentage impact correlates directly to the current Trend Path to determine a rise or decline in the percentage.

The Win Tonic is a PC software suite, which offers to protect users from malware and various other cyber threats by providing them with both real-time protection and a file scanner that will ensure that there are no pre-existing threats present on their computers. While this may sound like a promising tool, you need to know that the Win Tonic software has been deemed as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), and many users who have opted to install it ended up being disappointed with what the Win Tonic had to offer.
The software is available on the Win Tonic's official website, but we also came across a 1:1 clone of the program, which is named PC Tonics but features the same website, description, interface and list of features. Although the application is available for free download, users might not know that the trial version is only able to scan the system and generate a report with recommended actions. Apart from the security features, the Win Tonic also is able to function as a system optimizer and a disk cleaner, which is supposed to free up disk space, as well as boost the system's performance and stability.
Once users complete a scan using the Win Tonic, they might be prompted to purchase the full version to be able to take care of all pending issues automatically. If this offer is declined, the Win Tonic might display reminders and alerts regularly, which state that there are pending fixes and optimizations, and the user must purchase a license to take care of the problem.
Overall, using the Win Tonic's trial version can turn out to be a rather annoying experience, and the advice to readers is to stay away from this application. Win Tonic uses shady methods to convince you to buy it, and it does not offer any unique features that would make you want to pay for it. If you do not want to be bothered by this PUP, then you should consider removing it either manually or by using a suitable PC security tool. We recommend the latter method since it is guaranteed to leave no traces of the Win Tonic's existence on your computer.
