ScreenshotWistaAntivirus, or Wista Antivirus, is a rogue anti-spyware program and a clone of WinDefender 2008. Wista Antivirus may be installed by a Trojan infection called Zlob. WistaAntivirus is known to display popups and system notifications warning computer users of an infection. This is usually a bogus attempt to get you to purchase the WistaAntivirus program.

Once Zlob is installed, it will display fraudulent error messages, stating that your computer is infected with spyware and adware, only to bully you into fixing the problem with the rogue anti-spyware program that is advised by the Trojan. WistaAntivirus's error messages may read:
"Attention!
Viruses have been detected!

Spyware has been detected at your PC!
Last scan with Wista Antivirus has detected the traces of infection.

>> You are recommended to delete spyware immediately to avoid the following threats:
! Unauthorized access to your files, documents, media
! Theft of funds from your online banking accounts (PayPal/eBay, etc.)
! Theft of your credit card information
! Valuable personal data loss
! Unauthorized mass mailing from your e-mail
! Increased exposure to fraud
! Decreased Internet connection speed
>> In order to clean your PC from all threats you need to register your Wista Antivirus."

If you download Wista Antivirus, it will start a scan that displays false positives on your computer. It is strongly recommended to remove WistaAntivirus from your system without any hesitation.
