WorkatHomeStar is a deceptive adware that may impact your surfing sessions in a very negative way. Just like every other ad-oriented program, the purpose of this questionable plugin is to redirect you towards specific third-party domains. In exchange for providing substantial Web traffic to its partners, the developers of WorkatHomeStar receive referral commissions. WorkatHomeStar is misleading because its description promises features that may not be present. The creators of WorkatHomeStar assure that their product will allow PC users to receive extra money as they surf the Web. They even go that far to promote their questionable application as a 'work from home' solution. In reality, you will receive no financial benefits from installing WorkatHomeStar – all profits will go straight to its developers. Not all users who notice the ads by WorkatHomeStar have downloaded the adware from its official site. Some people report that this suspicious application attached towards Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer when they downloaded some third-party freeware. This delivery method is called bundling. Fortunately, you can prevent the loading of unwanted applications easily as long as you use the 'Advanced' menu. WorkatHomeStar may inject all kinds of commercial materials in the sites that you open. You may encounter rather persistent pop-ups, pop-unders, interstitial ads, transitional ads or sponsored videos. WorkatHomeStar also may manipulate your searches by including many sponsored links among the results. Although some of the discounts and offers by WorkatHomeStar may seem appealing, the experts suggest you proceed with extreme caution. Nothing can verify that all of the sites in the vast partner network of this adware are safe. Some may contain harmful software, which may infect your PC. In some cases, the presence of multimedia ads may cause your web clients to work sluggishly. You should use a powerful anti-malware application to delete WorkatHomeStar right away.
